Crush men finish seventh, women ninth to close out season at 3C2A State Championships
FRESNO – The 2025 Clovis Crush cross country season came to a close with the 3C2A State Championships at Woodward Park on a cool and crisp Saturday morning. The Crush men wrapped up the year by scoring 182 points for seventh place while the Clovis women totaled 262 points for ninth place.
Freshman Dylan Devine ran 20:50.89 on the four-mile Woodward Park course to finish in 23rd place to lead the Clovis men at the state championships. Up next for the Crush was freshman Christopher Barranco in 28th place at 20:55.06.
By finishing among the top 28 competitors at the event, both Devine and Barranco earned second-team All-State honors.
Freshman Davis Bosch just missed the cut off, taking 29th place with his time of 20:56.61. Sophomore Ivan Barranco closed out his Crush career with top-50 showing at state, running 20:59.43 for 34th place.

On the women's side, freshman Sam Martinez was the Crush's top finisher at the state championships/ She cleared the 5,000-meters Woodward Park course with her time of 19:29.55 for 32nd place.
She was followed by freshman Nieves Alvarez in 43rd place with a time of 19:45.91. Up next was freshman Liliana Cuevas in 68th place at 20:11.63.
