Bosch leads Crush men to third straight CVC cross country championship; Clovis women finish second
FRESNO – Led by a first-place finish by freshman Davis Bosch, the Clovis Crush men's cross country team totaled a winning score of 20 points to capture the 2025 Central Valley Conference championship. It was program's third straight CVC championship under head coach CJ Albertson.
Clovis' five scoring runners all finished among the competition's top-7.
Bosch won the men's race, clocking in at 21:12.04 on the four-mile Woodward Park course. Max Jauregui was third at 21:24.79, followed by Ivan Barranco (4th, 21:39.33), Alvino Diaz-Lopez (5th, 21:48.31), and Dylan Devine (7th, 21:54.06). The four runners were also named All-Central Valley Conference by finishing among the top-7.

On the women's side, the Crush had their string of six straight Central Valley Conference championships come to an end. College of the Sequoias edged out Clovis for the women's team championship by a final score of 25-30 in a tight battle.
The Crush were led by a second-place finish from Sam Martinez (19:52.28). Other top showings for the Crush included Nieves Alavarez in fourth (20:03.25) and Liliana Cuevas (20:48.46) in seventh. The trio earned All-Central Valley Conference honors by finishing among the top-7 at the event.

Wednesday's Central Valley Championships were the first of three straight championship meets at the venue. Woodward Park is set to host the Northern California Regional Championships on November 7 and the 3C2A State Championships on November 22.
